PCB Mount Transformers

Comelit have the capability to produce PCB mount transformers in very high volumes, and are in fact one of the market leaders in producing PCB laminated transformers for the lighting industry. We are able to insert terminal pins to the customer's designed length, which further reduces the assembly time to the customer, later in their process.

Bobbin Moulding Facility
Comelit are able to weld laminations in the production process & mould their own bobbins. These are moulded to ensure that the total transformer assembly can be completed in a very fast cycle time. This means that production at Comelit is never delayed by the supply of bobbins, which are crucial in the manufacture of transformers. We can of course source bobbins from outside suppliers, if the customer has a particular desire to use a more expensive bobbin, or to meet specialised build criteria.

All the transformers are produced in co-operation with the customer's needs for reduced cost, high quality and for future 'fit for purpose' assembly.

Approvals
Comelit have all the necessary approvals to produce PCB mounted transformers, as encapsulated versions or non encapsulated to EN 61558-1, 61558-2-6, in fact there can be variations on their standard ranges of EI40, EI48, EI30, EI38, EI42, EI54 and EI60 transformers.
