Laminated Transformers

Automated Assembly
Comelit manufactures laminated transformers in large quantities using up to date, fully automated assembly lines. This ensures that the laminated transformers are manufactured at very high speed and to a consistent quality level, to allow Comelit to compete with Far Eastern manufacturers.

Most laminations are automatically welded and assembled to the former, with continuous on-line quality checks and automated final inspection.

Custom Moulding
Using their fully automated moulding facility, Comelit also have the ability to mould the bobbin/former to customer's special design. This further reduces the cost and improves the quality for transformers that are manufactured to customer's specific requirements.

Most of the transformers are welded using plasma-welding technology, which makes the product extremely consistent in quality and enables a very fast production process.

Applications
Applications include lighting, motorised gates, battery chargers for welders, controls for alarms, white goods, in addition there are many applications in ventilation, air conditioning, vending machines etc.

We are particularly cost effective if the transformers are based on our standard EM/EC Approved transformers: - EI40, EI42, EI48, EI54 & EI60.
