Opening of new Chinese Transformer production facility 28 February 2008
Comelit are pleased to announce the opening of a new transformer production plant in China. The approach that Comelit has taken towards China has not been taken solely as a cost reduction, but rather as a positive request from the market for high quality Chinese sourced transformers and wire wound production, to European standards. The highest care is taken in the production line to ensure quality products, (whether it be a transformer or a coil) by ensuring that all personnel are qualified to the Comelit standard of production.
The client who chooses Comelit can count on a unique partner for transformer/power supply know-how, with product design, development and pre-production carried out in Italy, to European standards. Production mixed between Italy and China permits us to have identical products from two plants, to the same exacting standards. Working in collaboration with the customer allows Comelit to plan its production in such a way as to guarantee its lead times, without the potential problems in delivery that can arise by just having a sole Chinese plant.
Quality is guaranteed in the Chinese facility by working to the standard as laid down by our Italian Engineers working on site. Product from China is routed through the Italian plant for our European customers. Ability to deliver from Italy to Europe, from China to Europe and from China to China ensures that whoever chooses Comelit can count on a supplier who can deliver an identical level of quality, both in product and service, from Europe or China. |
